Rigi I'll Be Running to You

96 Musique is happy to announce the upcoming release of "I'll Be Running to You," the new single from Portuguese DJ and producer Rigi.

Built around soaring, emotive vocals and cascading piano chords, the track is House music with heart — a driving, dancefloor-ready groove undercut by a raw emotional current that never lets up, with the range to move a peak-time crowd on the dance-floor and hold its own on daytime radio.

The single continues a melody-first, feeling-driven approach to House that Rigi has developed over more than a decade behind the decks. Discovering Electronic Music and DJing at fifteen, he learned the fundamentals from Peter G before shaping his own sound: soulful House fused with dubby textures and a glitch of techno and progressive, always anchored in melody. Rigi played his first sets at Praia da Luz at sixteen and went on to perform at some of Portugal's most respected clubs and venues, a run that reached international projection in 2012 with a performance at the Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach. Alongside his DJ career, he has released original productions including "Dark on House" (Roja Records / Technotonik) and "Snap To Grid" (Bit Radio Records), remixed DJ Teresa's "Gotta Groove" and "Sax Infatuation," and now works on Foleys for animated films.
