The Avener has been one of the most popular DJs and producers in France for 10 years now.
Initially revealed in october 2013, his first single « Fade Out Lines », a smart electro rework of an unsung ballad by Phoebe Killdeer, has been spinning around the world, reaching millions and millions of listeners from all backgrounds and all ages. His first album « The Wanderings of The Avener » released in 2015 had redefines the rules of Electronic music. Based on reworking older or little-known songs, the album was marked by a rare authenticity and an undeniable soulfulness which drew tremendous attention worldwide.
Since then, The Avener has never stopped achieving success after success with singles like « Castle in The Snow », « Beautiful » or more recently « Quando Quando ». He’s also known to be a performing DJ, traveling the world to play in the biggest clubs, venues and festivals: Tomorrowland, Ultra or Ushuaïa Ibiza. Sharing the stage with major acts like Calvin Harris, David Guetta or DJ Snake.
While preparing his third album, The Avener unveils a new single called « The Morning Sun » : an upbeat and cheerful cover of another forgotten song, this one by Al Barry & The Cimarrons. Here we find the assets that have made the success of The Avener’s music: a sped up pace, a solid groove and an undisputable dose of talent to reconcile modern dance music and vintage tunes. With « The Morning Sun », The Avener definitely seems to get back to his initial idea of reworking oldies into massive worldwide hits.
